SUT+ is a subset of the Society for Underwater Technology (SUT) Aberdeen Branch.
SUT+ Aberdeen is the official group for developing professional’s working in underwater technology, ocean science and subsea engineering. We organise technical and social events in a range of formats, and promote underwater technology within society by supporting the education and career development of our members.

SUT Aberdeen offer refresher and experienced training for professionals seeking to update their knowledge.
Subsea Awareness Course
The course is delivered by experienced personnel from across the sector from Operators / Developers, Contractors and Technology Suppliers many of whom are recognised authorities within their organisations providing deep insight to the complete lifecycle of a subsea asset in both oil and gas and offshore renewables; covering design, installation, operations and ultimately decommissioning.

The Martin Richmond award
This award is made in memory of Martin Richmond who died from cancer in January 2006 at the age of 52. Martin was employed by JPK Caledonia Ltd (now Wood) and at the time of his death was Chairman of the Aberdeen Branch of the Society for Underwater Technology.
