Paul McRobbie

Chief Engineer, TechnipFMC

Paul is a Chief Engineer with >25years experience in Oil & Gas.

He has a Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Aberdeen.

His experience spans over the full Project Lifecycle from early engagement and FEED, tendering, system engineering design/configuration,
production support, factory acceptance testing (FAT/EFAT/SIT) through to installation & commissioning,
maintenance, upgrades and repair.

His product Lifecycle experience ranges from conception, business case, R&D through to plan retirement/ obsolescence management.

He has worked with Downhole Instrumentation, Subsea Controls and across Subsea Systems.

Robin Slater

Control Systems & AES Architect, OneSubsea

Robin Slater is an Engineering Advisor with over 20 years of experience in subsea control systems beginning at Aker Solutions and now contributing to the SLB OneSubsea joint venture. Before joining Aker Solutions, he worked across a range of technology sectors in roles spanning R&D, product development, and engineering leadership, building a broad multidisciplinary foundation.

His computer science background now supports a much wider engineering remit, with a strong focus on system architecture for modern subsea control systems, electrification, and digital integration. He has contributed to major industry standardisation initiatives and technology strategy efforts and is based in Aberdeen supporting global subsea controls development.

Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations are subject to a 25% administration fee where the cancellation is made more than one calendar month before the date of the training course. No refund is payable for a cancellation made within the calendar month immediately prior to the training course – in this event the full sum shown on the invoice remains payable.

Delegates may wish to nominate a substitute in their place.
