SUT Aberdeen returns with Gadgets and Widgets 2026 and is inviting expressions of interest from organisations developing cutting-edge technologies and solutions for the subsea sector. Booking registrations will open later.

Selected organisations will be offered a 10-minute presentation slot to highlight recent technology developments, emerging capabilities, lessons learned, or novel applications relevant to the subsea industry. Presentations should focus on technical and operational value rather than commercial promotion.

Applications should be submitted to [email protected] no later than 17 July 2026 to allow the committee to curate a high-quality and diverse programme ahead of public release.

Successful applicants will also receive exhibition space including:

• A tabletop display area for equipment, prototypes, demonstrations, and company literature
• Space for posters and pop-up banners
• Direct access to an engaged audience of subsea professionals, operators, contractors, and technology specialists

Presenting organisations will be invited to co-sponsor the evening at a nominal rate of £100 for members and £125 for non-members, helping SUT Aberdeen maximise attendance and deliver a high-value networking event for the subsea community.

This popular annual event will take place on 9 September 2026 at Aberdeenshire Cricket Club, Morningside Road, Aberdeen and provides a unique platform for companies to showcase innovation, share technical insight, and connect with key members of the underwater technology community.

Following the presentations, attendees and presenters will enjoy a buffet and networking session designed to encourage technical discussion, collaboration, and business engagement — providing an ideal opportunity to continue conversations, build new relationships, and discuss commercial opportunities in an informal setting.
