Harvey Smith
Harvey Smith has 37 years’ experience in Subsea Production Controls systems, initially in Directional Control Valve design, through Hydraulic Power Unit design, assembly and testing, working for or with all 4 major Subsea Original Equipment Manufacturers and currently as a Principle Subsea Controls Engineer and Subject Matter Expert for Woodside Energy Limited. Harvey has a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Offshore Engineering (Electrical). He has been involved in the start-up and continued cooperation of the SEAR JiP with other local operators. In his current role, Harvey works across all Woodside projects and on reliability improvements, ongoing Subsea opportunities both installed base and new projects and is proactively involved in the lesson learnt process and internal standards update.
