Training
The SUT offers training courses that reflect changing business needs, Energy Transition, and the requirement to undertake training via remote means.
Our well-established and highly regarded Subsea Awareness Course is offered as a face-to-face course including site visits where this is allowed under local legislation.
We can tailor the Subsea Awareness Course for companies and it is regularly offered by our Aberdeen, Bergen, Perth, and US (Houston) branches, taught by experienced SUT Members and Fellows of long-standing.
New courses are being prepared aimed at insurers, underwriters, finance & legal staff who need to work with the underwater technology sector, and we can offer tailored training in specialist areas such as marine policy, law of the sea, marine autonomous systems, and more on request – please contact HQ for more details.
The SUT also works with our corporate and individual members who offer training to ensure that their products are compliant with the requirements of accrediting bodies such as IMarEST & Engineers Australia.
