For every project, we are always focused on evaluating our risks in execution. After the project is complete and the pipeline is in place, there is still the long term risk of damage or failure of the line. Even though the probability of the risk is low, the potential consequence of realizing this risk can be enormous. An Emergency Pipeline Repair System (EPRS) is how we manage the risk of long term shutdowns and damage to the environment. There is no single fix when it comes to pipeline repair; many different tools and strategies need to be considered. This presentation will walk you through what is necessary for a proper EPRS Toolbox. Working to show these items from both the client, suppliers, and operator’s perspectives. Providing a better understanding of tools and what options may already be alible regionally.
