James Florrison
James leads Recfishwest’s artificial reef and research operations. James has extensive experience in the consultation, design, configuration, permitting and monitoring of artificial reefs and other habitat enhancement, restoration, and retention activities. He assisted in the creation of a framework for the development of habitat enhancement initiatives that has a strong focus on long-term benefits driven by industry and community partnerships. In 2015 James completed his Honours degree on the use of citizen science to monitor artificial reefs. These methods have since been accepted by Commonwealth and State Government regulators for legislative monitoring requirements.
