SUT+ Site Visit – Aberdeen South Harbour
23 June, 2022
This event is free to attend; spaces are limited to 40 so please register in advance to guarantee a place.
Aberdeen is perfectly located to be Europe’s energy transition capital, and the £400 million South Harbour port expansion project will be at the heart of the development of high potential sectors, including offshore wind and green hydrogen. It is the largest marine infrastructure project underway in the UK.
When fully completed in October 2022, the new harbour will feature the 400-meter-long Dunnottar Quay (east quay) as well as the 175-meter-long Crathes Quay (south quay). Balmoral Quay (west quay) will be 300 meters long and Castlegate Quay (north quay) will be 540 meters long.
The Port of Aberdeen infrastructure and facilities, combined with its strategic proximity to North Sea assets and knowledgeable supply chain, makes it the choice for the future, ready to lead with the UK’s ambitious net-zero targets.
Light refreshments will be provided.
