SUT Middle East and GUH event at ADIPEC

Tuesday 5th November, 1430-1600hrs | At the theatre at the centre of the Marine & Logistics Hall 15 (across the bridge)

Continuing the theme on Subsea cable-lay at ADIPEC this year, SUT Middle East is delighted to introduce the UK-based Global Underwater Hub (GUH) to discuss seabed cables which are a critical part of the national infrastructure for power and communications as well as playing a key role in offshore electrification goals as well as renewable energy. The Global Underwater Hub represents the diverse range of businesses operating in the UK’s £8 billion underwater industry. They facilitate cross-collaboration and growth across the underwater industry, which comprises offshore energy, aquaculture, defence, telecoms and subsea minerals.

The event will take place at 1430-1600 on Tue 5th Nov in the theatre at the centre of the Marine & Logistics Hall 15 (across the bridge).

The event will be moderated by Steve Fernie (GUH) with member companies presenting technology solutions including:

  • Mocean Energy (solar & batteries for wave generation) – Ian Crossland
  • Tekmar Group (cable protection & stabilization, polyurethane and concrete solutions) – Marc Bell
  • MCS Group (innovative subsea solutions) – Alistair Cowie
  • Nylacast (design, manufacture and innovative polymer solutions for subsea) Dean Sanders

It is free to attend but booking is essential – click here to register now.

We hope you will join the SUT Middle East in giving them a good welcome on GUH’s first official visit to the region. Please come and network with the subsea community in the Middle East.
