ECOSIGG, the University of Bristol (UoB) and Geoquip-Marine (GQM) invite you to an exclusive industry-academic event.  A select group of 15 students and early career professionals will get hands-on access to cutting-edge soil-foundation-structure testing at the UKCRIC Soil-Foundation-Structure-Interaction-Laboratory, tour advanced commercial testing labs at Geoquip-Marine, and gain insights from researchers and practicing engineers.

Agenda:

10:00: Meet at Bristol Temple Meads station. Transport arranged to UoB UKCRIC
(Participants can make their way direct to UoB campus at Langford (BS40 5DU) if making own travel arrangements)
10:30: Arrival and safety briefing
10:45: UoB large scale testing facility visit and academic presentations
12:45: Lunch Break and networking
13:45: Travel to GQM (BS2 0UY)
14:15: Arrival at GQM, safety briefing
14:30: GQM presentations with visiting guest (Prof. Bruno Stuyts)
16:30: Lab tour
17:00: Close – taxi transport to Bristol Temple Meads
