• How far did Boaty McBoatface travel in its recent ocean odyssey and what was it looking for?

For the inaugural North of England SUT pub quiz, who will emerge as Champion, and who will win the Wooden Spoon?

All Learned Members of the SUT are invited to attend the North of England Branch’s 1st Annual Pub Quiz at the As You Like It, Jesmond Three Sixty, Newcastle upon Tyne NE2 1DB. The planned start time is 7pm, probable finish time 10pm with a buffet. served between rounds.

Corporate Members are invited to send teams (5-person teams are ideal); individual members can form a scratch team on the night.

There is a limit of 50 attendees due to space restrictions at the venue and as such all teams and persons are encouraged to pre-register to avoid bitter disappointment on the night.

Following the quiz, there will be an opportunity to toast success or drown sorrows at the bar.

Our Quiz Master on the night will be the brilliant Anthony Harvey, wish him luck in his first event!
