For Podcast 9 SUT Education Committee Chair & Council Member Sue John interviews SUT Fellow and Diving & Manned Submersibles Committee member Dr Garry Momber, CEO of the Maritime Archaeology Trust, who are based at the National Oceanography Centre in Southampton.
They talk about underwater cultural heritage, the impact of rising sea level on land where humans once lived, challenges of diving in the intertidal zone, and the presence of large numbers of wrecks dating from WW1 along the south coast including the issue of diving and illegal salvage of war graves.
