Doug Austin
Doug Austin is the Asia Pacific Area Director of JFD , a subsidiary of UK PLC James Fisher and Sons. A graduate of Aberdeen University, Doug emigrated to Australia in 1998, establishing and managing a regional headquarters in Perth for UK –based commercial and military diving system manufacturer Divex. Divex merged in 2015 with fellow James Fisher subsidiary James Fisher Defence to form what is now JFD, a global company with over 450 employees, and a technology leader in underwater engineering. JFD have built 9 major saturation diving systems in Australia, and operate submarine rescue contracts in Australia, Singapore , UK and India.
