SUT Houston Annual Crawfish Boil
On Thursday, June 11th, SUT Houston Young Professionals (SUT YP) held their second annual crawfish boil at Ragin’ Cajun on Westheimer. The event attracted over 100 attendees from several different subsea companies in the Houston area. This year, we extended the invitation to students attending universities and recent graduates completing their internships in order to bridge the gap from graduation to young, experienced professionals. On top of that, several esteemed, seasoned professionals also attended the event, which was a great opportunity for the young professionals to meet such reputable individuals in a fun and relaxed setting. 
One of the seasoned professionals commented on how bright the room seemed to be. He was impressed with the new generation of subsea, and met several talented and innovative, future leaders. Overall, the event was a huge success, and SUT YP is already taking steps to make 2016’s crawfish boil an even better, more fantastic event.
