Brendon Fitzgerald
Brendan is co-founder and Managing Director of Vanguard Solutions with over 38 years’ experience in Safety and Reliability Engineering, Process Design and Process Simulation.
Brendan’s passion for Process Safety was forged by his role supporting a legal team at the Piper Alpha Inquiry, where he led work that disproved one of the two main theories for the cause of the disaster.
A highly experienced workshop facilitator, Brendan is a qualified HAZOP Leader and an approved HAZOP/SIL Facilitator. Brendan is a Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers.
