James Martin
James Martin graduated with honors in Mechanical Engineering at The University of Huddersfield in England and went on to join Dril-Quip Inc’s graduate program in 1997. As design engineer he participated in a number of subsea and surface systems for North Sea projects. He moved to FMC Technologies Singapore, to take up the role of lead engineer for Woodside Chinguetti Phase 2 in 2004. He was the system engineer for Woodside Pluto on which he ultimately served offshore as a crew chief. After over a year in field development he went on to become the engineering manager for the CNOOC Lihua 4-1 development and then engineering manager for the Woodside Greater Western Flank Phase 1 development. In 2014 he moved with FMC technologies Perth as chief engineer to support the Woodside portfolio and technical sales. He is currently in the Perth Front-End Engineering team for TechnipFMC
