Mike Robinson
Mike Robinson is the regional director for Subsea Services for FMC Technologies in Asia Pacific, and is based in Henderson, Perth. Prior to his current role Mike was responsible for Field Development as well as Sales and Marketing for FMC Technologies. During this time he was also the regionally responsibility for Subsea processing across Asia Pacific and the Middle East. Prior to Perth Mike was based in Houston for 14 years where he held various roles including business management, project management, technical sales leadership, filed development engineering and global account management. A native of Scotland Mike has been in Australia for 4.5 years. Mike’s career started with FMC Technologies 1990 in Aberdeen where he was responsible for Project Technical Sales, then through various roles to Operations Manager of the Aftermarket facility. Mike was elected Chairman of Subsea Energy Australia in 2011 a trade organization with over 100 members aimed at promoting Subsea business to and from Australia for its member companies. Mike is a member of the SPE, Energy institute, ASME and has been a regular presenter for the SUT in Australia and previously in the UK and USA. Mike worked in Engineering in various disciplines with W-K-M from 1985 until FMC technologies. Mike studied Mechanical and Production Engineering at Napier University in Edinburgh, post Graduate Management and Masters in Business Administration at the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen.
