Alastair Walker
For the past four years Alastair has been Lead Engineer for Advanced Analysis on the Chevron Wheatstone FEED and Detailed Design. Prior to joining INTECSEA Alastair was Founding Director for two commercially successful subsea pipeline design and development companies; these were KW Ltd, and AME Ltd. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineering and a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering. His primary interest during 35 years of subsea pipeline engineering has been the advancement of design methods to ensure that pipelines can be designed and installed to operate safely and to accommodate the effects of challenging conditions, including extremely deep water, high temperatures and pressures, use of stronger materials and development of CRA clad and lined pipe.
