Perth – Mentoring Program Workshop 1 – Self Awareness

In 2021, SUT teamed up again with Australian Society of Exploration Geophysicists, Engineers Australia, Petroleum Club of WA, Petroleum Exploration Society of Australia (PESA) , Society of Petroleum Engineers WA (SPE), Subsea Energy Australia (SEA) and Women in Subsea Engineering (WISE), to put on a co-hosted mentoring program and give everyone the opportunity to broaden their professional network.

Our first learning workshop for 2021 will present – Self Awareness.

Amy Jacobson from Finding Your ‘y’ will host a workshop all about self awareness, which is all about knowing your core skills and what makes you tick. Amy will discuss building your ‘skill portfolio’ from a personal and career point of view.

During this workshop, we will learn that the first step to mindset and self-awareness is owning our priorities, choices and the emotional drivers behind every decision. We don’t make sacrifices in life, we make choices based on our priorities at the time determined by preconceived beliefs and values. Understanding our core drivers and priorities provides purpose and ownership.

For those who attended the launch night facilitated by Amy Jacobson – you will know that this means it is going to be a great evening not to be missed.

Throughout most of 2019 Subsea UK and NSRI in collaboration with the UK Defence Solution Centre (UKDSC), Royal Navy, BP and the OGTC, supported through the UKRI Innovate UK, on behalf of both the MOD and the Offshore Energy Sector has led to the launch of the of a Cross Sector Investment (CSI) initiative.
