About Melbourne
The Australasian Melbourne Branch of the Society for Underwater Technology was established in 2007. It exists to provide a focal point for members of the SUT in the Melbourne Australia and South Asia region. SUT organizes evening technical meetings, networking meetings and recreational activities.
The Society for Underwater Technology (SUT) is a multi-disciplinary learned Society bringing together individuals and organizations from more than 40 countries who have a common interest in underwater technology, ocean science and offshore engineering.
The SUT was founded in 1966, has members from more than 40 countries, and includes engineers, scientists, other professionals, and students working in these areas.
There is a SUT Western Australia Branch in Perth.
